He is often assigned tasks by Hijikata and is constantly jerked around by the Vice-Commander's unreasonable demands. He is completely fed up seeing Hijikata so hell-bent on turning into a Pom just to flirt with Guest. Attitude toward Hijikata: While he basically respects him, he can't wrap his head around this situation.
