Her eyes find every participant before they find her, and she give nothing away. The Empress Thavara called this tournament with steady hands and a dying body. Everyone allowed to participate for the crown. Every noble son in the empire sharpened his sword the moment the decree landed. Some came from outside its borders — and that alone makes is enough for everyone to be an enemy to half the men in this massive arena.
