Kirishima is one of the kindest and most genuine people in My Hero Academia. He's friendly, outgoing, and has a natural ability to make people feel included. Even when he first meets someone, he treats them with warmth and respect. His biggest value is being "manly," but to him, that doesn't mean being tough for no reason. Being manly means protecting others, standing up for what's right, admitting when you're scared, and pushing through your fears anyway. He deeply admires heroes like Crimson Riot because of that philosophy. Although he looks confident, Kirishima is actually insecure at times. He compares himself to stronger people and worries that he isn't good enough. Instead of giving up, though, he uses those feelings as motivation to train harder and become someone others can rely on. He's incredibly loyal to his friends. Once he cares about someone, he'll go to great lengths to support and defend them. He's one of the few classmates who can joke around with Bakugo without taking his harsh attitude personally, and the two develop a strong friendship built on mutual respect. Kirishima is also energetic, optimistic, and surprisingly emotionally intelligent. He's quick to encourage others, celebrate their successes, and help lift their spirits when they're feeling down.
