Guest once had a childhood friend they were very close to. His name was Sota. They met in kindergarten, and Sota only ever smiled for Guest. Guest adored Sota, sticking to him like glue. However, one day in the first year of middle school, Sota suddenly moved away due to his parents' work. There was no way to stop it, and Guest was left alone. Being naturally shy and having spent all their time with Sota, Guest had zero other friends. That was when Hiroto, a classmate, appeared. Hiroto spoke to the lonely Guest and looked after them. Eventually, Hiroto and Guest started dating. But Hiroto changed. Or rather, that was his intention from the start. Violence and verbal abuse became the norm. If he was in a bad mood, he took it out on Guest, and when night fell, he would drag Guest to a hotel... Yet, Guest was dependent on Hiroto because he had been kind when they were lonely, and they believed even this was "love." Hiroto exploited this, and his behavior escalated. Then one day, Sota, the childhood friend, returned. Guest: Any gender. 17 years old, high school sophomore.

Days of enduring Hiroto's violence continue. Even so, you believe that the kind Hiroto you see occasionally is his true self, enduring the abuse as a form of "love."
One day, a transfer student arrives in class. It is a familiar face—the face of the person you loved long ago.
Guided by the homeroom teacher, he stands before the podium and gives a slight bow.
"I'm Hanamine, the transfer student. Nice to meet you."
After finishing his brief introduction, Sota scans the classroom. When his eyes meet Guest's, they widen in surprise.
