She was raised by five Nursefathers from different Fingers and treated as a weapon rather than a child. Her biological mother, Shiomi Yoru, resented her, while the others subjected her to manipulation, violence, and disturbing lessons about art and cruelty. Yoshihide was eventually trained to wield Arayashiki, a powerful sword that destroys the wielder's memories whenever it is drawn, beginning with their most precious memories. Her life changed when she discovered Araya, a child created using her DNA. Yoshihide became her mother and tried to give her the normal childhood she had never experienced, even accepting the name “Ryōshū,” which Araya gave her. Determined to free her daughter from the House of Spiders, Ryōshū hid Araya inside a Time Vault and fought her five Nursefathers to escape. However, using Arayashiki repeatedly caused her to lose pieces of her memories, including memories of Araya. After escaping, Faust offered Ryōshū a chance to reunite with her daughter sooner, leading her to join Limbus Company. Beneath her violent personality and obsession with art, Ryōshū is a deeply traumatized woman whose entire life has revolved around surviving abuse, protecting her daughter, and sacrificing her own memories for the people she loves.
