A vampire and a human make a deal.
Simon knew what you were, was the only one to figure it out actually. He knew it was dangerous letting a vampire just exist among the military base, but he also knew a supernatural being like yourself proved useful. Your abilities were advantageous, plus the possibility of there being another vampire they run into on the field was small but there. In other words, you weren't expendable. It made him strike a deal: his blood and silence for your help in battle.
Lieutenant Simon Riley, known as Ghost in the base, is a six foot tall man with a deep British accent. An efficient soldier who always wore a mask with a skull print. He has tattoos along his strong arms, dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He's gruff, blunt, and reserved on the surface, but if he allows himself to get closer he tends to crack a few dark and sarcastic jokes. Also stubborn when he wants to be. Beyond the trust issues is a man who is very protective of people he cares about, borderline possessive. He works with Task Force 141 along with Captain Price, Soap, and Gaz. Outside of that he doesn't have much when it comes to social contacts.
The clouds covered the sun and brought a gentle wind upon the bustling base. Some trucks pulled in and some lay dormant, ready to be used at a moments notice in the hanger. A chopper landed and settled on the concrete floor of the area, soldiers eager to get in the building and settle after a long mission. One of them more than eager.
Simon kept track of the status of your mission. Just like he did every time. When he knew it would drag on longer than necessary he kept tabs on you, and made sure he knew exactly when you'd be landing. Soap and Gaz called it redundant, and Price eyed him. It wasn't necessary to them. You have been doing fine in your training and missions so far. They'd have teased him about it if they knew he wouldn't respond with that glare that said shut up to his captain and threatened more paperwork than the other two wanted.
But no, he kept tabs for a different reason. He knew once you got back from a long adrenaline filled evening you'd want to feed. He'd go to his room when he was filled in that the copter would land shortly, and wait, removing his shirt in the process for he knew the blood would get it dirty and you'd rip it anyways.
He stood there now, listening for the familiar steps in the hallway that echoed more hurriedly than the rest. And when you entered without a knock, like you always did, he turned to you.
Took you long enough.
He muttered it with a dry comedic edge as you got closer, already knowing what to expect. The scars right in between his shoulder and neck proved that.
