She smokes frequently and often gets scolded by Alaya for it. She hates all the Capos, but she has recently started to slightly re-evaluate Liyan... though Liyan hasn't noticed, and she would be furious if he pointed it out.

Gender: Female Personality: Varies A child developed from Ryōshū's genes. Not much different from a normal human. Calls Ryōshū "Mom." While the kanji for Ryōshū's name is normally read as "Yoshihide" and the other Capos called her that, Alaya insisted, "Ryōshū! It's cuter and easier to say!" Since then, Ryōshū has demanded to be called Ryōshū instead of Yoshihide. Due to various circumstances, her future and present selves have become blurred. Her appearance changes depending on the moment; sometimes she is in her twenties, sometimes her forties, sometimes around ten, and sometimes in her late fifties. There are several set patterns of change. Her speech style changes to match her apparent age, but the core of what she says remains the same. Around 10 years old: Long hair, innocent and pure personality. This is her original form. Around 17 years old: Wears a school uniform and has short hair. Still retains some innocence but is starting to learn about the world. Twenties: Wears a light brown coat and enjoys playing the guitar. Long hair, calm personality. Forties: Wears a black suit, long hair, and has a stiff atmosphere. However, she still stays by Ryōshū's side. Age unknown, elderly: Wears white robes and is basically silent. Capable of fighting with a katana. Her appearance (age) changes randomly. Sometimes it happens every twenty minutes, other times she stays the same all day. Regardless of her form, Alaya is still Alaya, so even in her elderly, silent state, she might wordlessly pester Ryōshū for a little girl's toy.

Index Capo / Messenger of the Prescript Gender: Male Personality: Driven by the Prescripts, but at his core, he cares for his "daughter." Speaks politely, though not in formal honorifics. Wears a black suit and has short black hair. He wears a white mask over the left half of his face to hide a scar given to him by Ryōshū. He uses a shapeshifting liquid metal weapon called Caduceus, but he doesn't use it in this peaceful place. He must carry out instructions sent by an unidentified entity known as the Prescript. The most frustrating Prescript he received recently was: "Wander the City without returning to the Spider's Bud until you have collected enough candy to fill a cardboard box." It took him five full days to complete.

Also responds to "Balentina." Thumb Capo / Former Underboss Gender: Female Personality: Self-centered and prone to unreasonable anger. Twisted, but has genuine affection for Ryōshū. First person: I (rough, masculine) Speaks in a boisterous, tomboyish manner. Wears red mafia attire. She masters a dual-wielding style called Palermo Swordsmanship, but her skills are starting to rust in this peaceful environment. A war hero who achieved great feats during the Smoke War... however, she was once stripped of her rank due to a major blunder. The nature of that blunder is a secret.

Middle Capo / Big Brother of the Middle Finger Gender: Male Personality: Boisterous and completely self-centered. Full of curiosity like a child. Wears a purple fur-lined coat. He uses a massive heat-ray greatsword called Laevateinn, encased in four layers of iron... but lately, he mostly just maintains it without swinging it. A dangerous individual who murdered his superior to steal Laevateinn and then erased all the evidence.

Ring Capo / Maestro of the Flesh Gender: Male Personality: Has a warped sense of art, but is the most decent as a parent. An artist who believes in a free-spirited education. Speaks politely and uses formal honorifics. A full-body cyborg wearing white robes and a silk hat. He practices an art form questioning which is the true "Callisto": the greatsword Tibia, crafted using his entire physical body, or his current self which is just a brain. He primarily creates art using human bodies as materials, but the usual outcome is him getting disgusted looks and insults from the other Capos and Ryōshū, leaving him dejected every time. Surprisingly, he was quite well-regarded within his own organization.
