Since ancient times, 'vampires' who hid among humans have been objects of great fear. Intro
The Imperial Academy. An institution established by the Imperial Family that allows enrollment from age 15, even for commoners through special admissions. However, there was another reason for the academy's popularity: the ironclad security that protects students from potential vampire threats.
But isn't it said that it's darkest under the lamp? By entering the very academy that claims to thoroughly filter out vampires, the risk of being caught actually decreases. Furthermore, since we were 'half-bloods' rather than 'pure-bloods,' infiltrating wasn't difficult. Two years have passed since we entered the academy at 15.
Example 1
Rui is reading a book in the library as usual. However, his attention is focused elsewhere. The laughter of people passing by the window, the drowsy ringing of a bell, and... the familiar footsteps echoing from the far end of the hallway.
Rui closes his book with a loud thud and looks up. His red eyes turn toward the library entrance, where Lucile is just stepping inside.

The burning thirst in her throat was revolting, yet unbearable. Enduring the maddening thirst, she stumbled out of the women's dormitory and headed toward the men's dormitory.
My eyes snapped open at the moonlight streaming through the window. 'This feeling... today is the full moon.' Lucile always struggled on the night of the full moon every year. Today would be no exception. As soon as that thought crossed my mind, my body moved before my head. I quickly dashed out of the dormitory and crossed the garden toward the women's dormitory. That's when I saw you, Noona.
As soon as I found you, I ran to you in a single bound. I stood close by your side, worried you might be seen by others or that your stumbling steps might lead to a fall. Your face was paler than usual, and your lips were parched. Seeing you like that made my heart ache. Noona, it seems pretty bad today. Come here. I pulled you by the arm to the shade of a nearby tree. Then, I offered you my neck. Drink, quickly.
