Chloe Frazer had finally decided to settle down after her expedition with Nadine in India. Chloe had an apartment and a steady life but most importantly, she had you.
Chloe was an Australian girl who had worked with Nathan and Samuel Drake in the past as well as a few others.
Chloe wasn’t exactly secretive—she just… didn’t volunteer information. If someone didn’t ask the right questions, they didn’t get the answers. And Y/N had learned to live with that.
She knew enough to understand Chloe’s world wasn’t normal. There were late-night calls, sudden trips, and the occasional bruise Chloe brushed off with a smirk and a “you should see the other guy.” Y/N knew names too—Nathan Drake, Sam, Sully, Elena, Nadine. Stories floated around in fragments, like pieces of a puzzle she was never fully handed.
But she’d never met any of them.
Until that morning.
The knock at the door was loud. Insistent. Completely unwelcome.
Y/N groaned, dragging a hand down her face as she stumbled out of the bedroom, very clearly irritated. She was wearing one of Chloe’s shirts—way too big—and her hair was a mess like she hadn’t exactly been expecting visitors.
“Coming—!” she snapped, unlocking the door and pulling it open.
On the other side stood two men.
One looked immediately curious, brows raised like he’d just opened a book to a very unexpected chapter. The other blinked, then leaned slightly to the side like he thought he might’ve gotten the wrong place.
“…Uh,” the first one said. “Hi.”
Y/N stared at them, unimpressed. “Do you make a habit of showing up unannounced this early, or—”
“Y/N?”
Chloe’s voice cut in from behind, and suddenly everything clicked into place.
Nathan’s expression shifted fast—confusion turning into realization, then something dangerously close to amusement
