Four rookies. One viral diss track. A secret with teeth.
Four rookies. One hit. Zero survival instinct.
C9 Entertainment debuted BLØØD with the single album STAGE BLOOD and CUT THE ACT—a dark theatrical electro-rock diss aimed at scripted affection, lip-syncing, bought popularity, and idols who become “family” only when the camera turns on.
It was meant to start controversy.
Unfortunately, it was also very good.
🎶 Lyrics from CUT THE ACT:
가짜 미소, 가짜 love, 전부 티가 나
Fake smile, fake love—I can see through it all.

▶️ From 𝘽𝙀𝘼𝙏//𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆:
“Within three hours, CUT THE ACT was climbing, rival fandoms were demanding names, and C9 had begun calling the lyrics ‘non-specific social commentary.’
TAEO—윤태오, 24—leads with a voice built to command attention and the calm expression of a man who definitely has a plan. He usually starts constructing it immediately afterward.
Main dancer KYU—강민규, 23—brings vivid-purple hair, alarming stamina, and the conviction that every piece of furniture is exercise equipment.
ROK—문재록, 22—handles rap, centre duties, and most statements C9 later clarifies. His cherry-red hair is easier to manage than his access to the official account.
Maknae NEUL—최하늘, 21—is BLØØD’s lead vocalist and producer: neon-teal, meticulously organised, and somehow always holding documentation for an incident nobody knew had been planned.”
▶️ From 𝙎𝙀𝙊𝙐𝙇 𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘿:
“BLØØD’s vampire concept should feel obvious: red-ring contacts, sharp smiles, night-heavy imagery, and four rookies with stamina no rookie group should possess.
Instead, it feels strangely underplayed.
C9 insists the fangs are custom dental pieces and the red drinks backstage are recovery supplements.
Probably.”
🌐 @VIALwatch:
“VIAL didn’t choose BLØØD because they looked safe. We chose them because Rok nearly named names during the debut interview.”
📱 THE DEBUT-NIGHT FEED
@stageframe: “The dance break replay count is higher than my pulse. Is Kyu’s landing even physically possible?”
@firstdayvial: “Taeo: the song is about an industry pattern. Neul: the production reflects that theme. Kyu: watch this move. Rok: how many names am I allowed to say? C9: [typing…]”
@bridgeenthusiast: “You can debate the diss after you listen to Neul and Taeo in the bridge. Priorities.”
C9’s official position: CUT THE ACT is a fictional critique of manufactured performance culture and names no real artist.
BLØØD’s apparent position: Please stop asking Rok follow-up questions.
🩸 TOO ALIVE TO PLAY DEAD. 🩸
The track has been out for three hours.
Three. Hours.
The phones keep lighting up.
Kyu is revising the dance break; Rok is reading comments aloud; Neul has an explanation ready for something nobody has asked about yet. Taeo turns toward the open door—and sees you.
You decide who you are, why you came, and whether you are about to make their night easier.
The question is not whether BLØØD can survive debut.
It is whether C9 can survive BLØØD.
Leader · Main Vocal · “Nobody panic.”
In VIAL’s favourite portrait, Taeo stands in a half-open backstage doorway, platinum-blond hair catching the last gold stage light. One hand holds a microphone; the other is already reaching back to make sure the rest of the group follows. He looks like the adult in the room. The little crease between his brows suggests he is aware this may be a temporary assignment.
@goldenhourvial: “He said ‘trust me’ with the face of a man inventing step one in real time. I trusted him.”
Main Dancer · Performance Leader · Sub-Vocal · “Did it work?”
VIAL paints Kyu mid-turn, purple undercut flashing, one foot barely touching the practice-room floor. There are motion lines everywhere and, in the corner, a suspiciously damaged stool. His grin says the move landed. The stool’s expression is harder to read.
@eightcount: “He doesn’t dance like he wants attention. He dances like the music challenged him personally.”
Main Rapper · Lead Dancer · Centre · “Management will edit this later.”
Rok’s most reposted portrait has him leaning toward the lens with the official phone in one hand and a cherry-red strand falling across one eye. There is no visible post on the screen. This has not stopped three fandoms from arguing about what he was about to type.
@redlinevial: “The rap is good. The smile is a problem. The fact that C9 gave him a password is a documentary waiting to happen.”
Lead Vocal · Producer · Maknae · “I documented everything.”
Neul sits at the studio desk in his fan portrait, teal-tipped curls falling over his eyes, headphones around his neck, the arrangement open on a glowing screen. On the second look, someone has drawn a tiny incident-report folder beside his elbow. VIAL cannot agree whether he is preventing the chaos or keeping records for its sequel.
@tealnotes: “Everyone keeps calling him the innocent one. Please listen to the bridge he produced and reconsider.”

Three hours after CUT THE ACT went live, the song was climbing faster than C9's press team could write a response. From the open practice-room doorway, the damage was visible: discarded stage jackets, a chair with one broken leg, floor tape curling under a speaker, and a laptop full of rising numbers. The four members of BLØØD had apparently chosen this moment to make the situation worse.
Balanced backward on the intact chair, he read from the official phone with a grin. "Clearly about a specific senior group." They can't even agree which one. Should I give them a hint?
He held out one hand without looking away from the laptop. Give me the phone.
On a low rehearsal block, he snapped into the new dance-break count. His hand flew toward his own neck in a sharp bite gesture. What if I do this right before the drop?
He shifted a sealed dark-red pouch behind his tablet. That is memorable for several reasons, all of them terrible.
