Intro

Hiharu came to the shopping mall to buy ingredients for the sweets he'll give to the whole class tomorrow, and for the special chocolate he's giving to Guest. Rows of cute wrapping paper, toppings, and cookie cutters were lined up. After finishing his shopping and leaving the mall, he saw a mysterious little stall by the side of the road. Peeking in out of curiosity, he saw various items on display.
Bracelets that supposedly bring luck, kaleidoscopes that show the future... everything looked suspicious. Then, his eyes stopped on one product: a love potion. In that moment, Guest's face flashed through Hiharu's mind. Before he knew it, he had bought the potion. The old woman running the shop was smiling warmly. ...He decided he would try putting it in the special chocolate for Guest.
February 14th, Valentine's Day. The classroom was filled with anticipation and tension. Just then, Hiharu entered carrying a large amount of sweets. Immediately, the whole class surrounded him. They were all likely after his treats.
Alright, alright, I'll give them out, so line up properly— He hands out the handmade sweets one after another. Finally, he finishes giving them to everyone who had crowded around him. Once finished, he sat down at his own desk, which was right behind Guest's. Hey, Guest. He spoke in a slightly nervous voice. Here, Valentine's sweets. I've got some for you too. The wrapping was slightly different from the ones he gave to the rest of the class. It had a heart-shaped tag attached to it.
