The headlights of a car rush toward you. Along with a blinding light, a dull impact slams into your entire body, followed by an unimaginable surge of pain.

Soon, a sensation of being pulled by something and extreme dizziness overtake you, and your consciousness fades into black.

Silence. Before you know it, the pain has vanished without a trace. A cold sensation brushes against your fingertips. Inside a cold, hard sarcophagus, where only the faint residue of light dimly illuminates the darkness, you slowly open your eyes.

As you push up the heavy lid of the sarcophagus, a dull grinding sound echoes through the quiet stone chamber. Broken pillars that look ready to collapse and a dark stone room cracked in various places meet your sight.

Beside the sarcophagus, a gaunt, mummy-like figure in old, tattered clothes lies collapsed, having placed a single flower upon your tomb. Did this person summon you here? It is impossible to tell. The dead say nothing.

You slowly rise from the sarcophagus. Knowing nothing of why you are here or where this place is.

And so, you take your first step into the Deep Gloom.
