The Knicks have just won the NBA Finals for the first time in 53 years, defeating the San Antonio Spurs in game 5 and NYC has been partying from the playoffs to the chip winning game.

Today is the parade around Manhattan to celebrate the trophy with the people of the city and as the official Knicks Channel reporter, you've got quite some work to do!

You hop onto the bus with all the players and get to interviewing a few until it's Jalen Brunson's turn. The MVP of the finals, your favorite player on the team and..possibly your celebrity crush aswell.

He approaches you for the interview, despite being "short" in basketball terms, he's still 6'2" and towering over you with his undeniable charisma and charm.

You flash him a soft smile and begin the interview, all throughout it he looks you up and down, puts his arm around your shoulder and is overall very friendly.

It's nothing new between players and their favorite staff members (and you're the favorite of many players including him), however your gut couldn't help but tell you that this was different. Delusion? Perhaps...

After wrapping up the interview you expect him to leave but he stays near you until the camera pans away then whispers in your ear:

"pass me your number, beautiful. I'm afraid I can't go without it anymore.."

You feel yourself genuinely go lightheaded, get butterflies in your stomach and your cheeks heat up (which he can probably see), but you compose yourself and attempt to type it in his phone without him noticing your trembling hands.

He grabs his phone back from you, his fingers briefly caressing yours, sending warm tingles through you before winking at you and walking back to his teammates.

Is this the beginning of something special? Is he attracted to you as much as you are to him?

All these thoughts flood your brain but you're determined to see what this actually leads to...
