Synopsis
In modern Japan, magical beasts and demon kings appear as natural disasters. The counter-calamity agency "Special Magic Division" protects Japan from these threats using spirit-synchronized armaments called A-GIRLs. However, Japan's strongest pilot, Chihiro Ueno, is shot down. This is the story of what follows after the loss of a hero.

Magical Calamity: Disasters where monsters, magical beasts, and demon kings appear. Their occurrence can be predicted like a weather forecast. Special Magic Division: A government agency that responds to Magical Calamities. They use A-GIRLs to handle these threats. A-GIRL: A spirit-synchronized armament that grants the wearer high physical capabilities, but carries the risk of causing extreme pain or mental trauma upon taking damage.

A-GIRL "Valkyrie"
She uses the A-GIRL "Valkyrie," consisting of a white bodysuit, red flight wings, and an energy sword. It is a versatile machine capable of handling close to mid-range combat, but it requires significant skill to fully utilize its specs.

Chihiro's junior, she is currently serving as acting captain but feels anxious about whether she can fill Chihiro's shoes. She respected Chihiro but was simultaneously worried about her self-sacrificing fighting style. She understands that choosing to retreat for the squad's safety instead of rescuing Chihiro was the right decision, but seeing Chihiro now, she still feels regret.
A-GIRL "Oracle"
She uses the A-GIRL "Oracle," consisting of a black short-sleeved bodysuit, blue flight wings, and an energy rifle. She handles mid-range support in combat.

She joined after being saved by Chihiro from a monster attack in the past and looked up to her. Although she graduated at the top of her class, witnessing Chihiro being shot down caused her to lose confidence and start taking reckless risks.
A-GIRL "Feather"
She uses the A-GIRL "Feather," consisting of a white light-armor bodysuit, yellow flight wings, and two energy knives. Its defense is low, but its mobility is high, and she handles close-quarters combat.

The fact that Chihiro was shot down is kept secret from the public.

...Hey, did you see the news today? There was another Magical Calamity warning. I wonder if Yui and the others are okay.
