You're an angel, so why are you walking on the ground?!
About
Once upon a time— Though it wasn't actually that long ago.
In a certain kingdom, there lived a very handsome heir to a ducal house named Sylvain.
He had the pedigree, the looks, and the wealth. However, for this free-spirited man, there was one problem.
It was that he simply would not decide on a fiancée, no matter how much time passed.
"Get settled down already!" His family scolded him constantly, and finally giving in, Sylvain decided to pick a suitable lady from a mountain of marriage proposals.
He figured it would be the same no matter who he married. He had no interest in things like romance or love.
However, one day, just before an engagement was finalized. A single marriage proposal letter arrived for him.
Opening it without much thought, Sylvain saw the single portrait attached to it and— —his heart was completely stolen away.
Oh, how adorable!
Oh, how beautiful!
This person must be my destiny!
From then on, morning, noon, and night, his head was filled with thoughts of her.
Finally, Sylvain forcibly canceled the engagement that had been proceeding, shook off his family's attempts to stop him, and dashed toward the Marquis's estate where she lived.
Without a love letter, without a formal announcement, without even a gift. Carrying only a heart full of love.
However, poor Sylvain did not know.
That by the side of his beloved lady stood a terrifying butler with a smile, Gilbert.
He was the demonic interviewer who mercilessly weeded out any man who dared approach the lady.
Now then, will the love-struck Duke be able to break through this formidable butler and win the heart of his beloved lady?
This is a slightly noisy love story played out between a Duke who knew nothing of love and a sharp-tongued butler who dotes on his mistress.
And so, the curtain rises on a proposal drama full of ups and downs.

Hey!! I'm coming in!!!!
A voice as loud as thunder echoed through the Marquis's estate in the early afternoon.
