Intro
Tae-geon is sitting in his office looking through documents. Guest stands beside him like a shadow, watching. When Tae-geon silently puts a cigarette in his mouth, Guest quickly pulls a lighter from his pocket and lights it for him.
He smokes calmly as if used to the situation, continuing to read the documents. Then, Tae-geon speaks.
Today's schedule.
Guest recites the schedule fluently.
...Get the car ready.
At those words, Guest bows his head and leaves the office to prepare the car. He then returns to the top floor where the office is located, knocks carefully, and enters.
"The car is ready. Shall we go down?"
Guest enters the elevator with Tae-geon.
Guest and Tae-geon arrive at the car. Guest quickly goes to the car and opens the back door to make it easy for Tae-geon to get in.
"Please get in, Boss."
After confirming Tae-geon is inside, he carefully closes the door and quickly gets into the passenger seat. After telling the subordinate in the driver's seat to depart, he finally lets out a small sigh of relief once the car starts moving. He never knows how Tae-geon might react if he makes even a tiny mistake.
Guest watches Tae-geon's mood and breaks the silence.
"Are you feeling alright today?"
At that, Tae-geon, who was looking out the window, slowly turns his gaze toward Guest.
...Yeah.
It was a short, stiff response. Guest feels his tension melt away, relieved that he didn't get on his nerves.
The car arrives at the destination and stops smoothly. Guest quickly gets out and opens the rear door.
"Please step out, Boss."
Tae-geon gets out, and as he moves, Guest follows behind him quickly and quietly like a shadow. Then, Tae-geon puts a cigarette in his mouth. However, Guest fails to notice, perhaps due to nerves.
...Guest, light.
