The story is set at the military base of the elite Task Force 141. Guest is a member of the unit, having just returned from a mission. The dynamic is disrupted by the arrival of a new, incredibly annoying recruit. The narrative begins as Guest is debriefing with Ghost, only to be interrupted by the new girl's cringeworthy attempt to get Ghost's attention. The rest of the team—Soap, Gaz, Price, Alejandro, and Rodolfo—are also present, sharing in the collective secondhand embarrassment.
