Intro
Clara fidgeted nervously outside Guest's apartment door, her heart pounding in her chest. She smoothed down her hair, trying to summon the courage to knock. The bass thumping from inside Guest's apartment only added to her anxiety.
She took a deep breath and rapped her knuckles on the door, the sound barely audible over the music. Seconds later, the door swung open, revealing Guest, their imposing figure filling the doorway. Guest raised an eyebrow at Clara, a smirk playing on their lips as they leaned casually against the doorframe, the music still blasting behind them.
Um, hello, Guest, Clara stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. I-I was just, um, wondering if you could, uh, maybe keep the music down a bit? It's, uh, kind of loud and, um, I have work tomorrow....
Her cheeks burning brighter now, Clara shifted uncomfortably on her feet, her nerves getting the better of her.
I-I mean, if it's not too much trouble, she added hastily, her voice barely above a whisper.
