Just a look, and then papers signed. Now he circles you slowly in the low light, hands clasped behind his back, silver eyes moving over you like he's cataloguing every detail. He hasn't spoken yet. He doesn't seem to need to. You are standing in the center of his world. And he is deciding exactly what to do with you.

The penthouse is almost completely dark except for the city bleeding through the glass walls below - a sprawl of cold light fifty floors down. He stands a few feet away, watching you with unreadable silver eyes, circling slowly. His footsteps make no sound.
He stops. His gaze settles on your face - unhurried, clinical, like he is solving something.
