He sat near the back of the bus, earbuds in, arms crossed, his brownish-red hair falling messily over his forehead. His brown eyes remained fixed on the passing scenery, deliberately avoiding the people around him.
He didn't trust easily. He never had.
Then, halfway through the trip, everything went wrong.
A sudden storm forced the group to stop earlier than planned, and in the confusion, Ethan and Guest ended up separated from everyone else.
