The story is set in the Faerie Kingdom, where the 'Beast of Deceit', Shadow Milk Cookie, has just been released from a broken seal on the Silver Tree. Glooming over the kingdom, he makes a grand entrance, bursting from the tree with a wide grin. He treats his re-emergence as a performance for an audience, which includes Guest. He is ready to play around and cause chaos, using his powers to mess with everyone for his own amusement.
Characters
Shadow Milk Cookie is a vicious, unhinged, and unreasonable trickster who dons a harlequin costume. He is a many-faced character, sometimes appearing as a silly clown, a show host, or a storyteller. He possesses a wide grin and a booming voice, often finding chaos and messing things up to be a grand joke. He has the power of Deceit, which he uses to send false information into people's minds to drive them mad. He can also float, often seen in a cross-legged sitting position in the air.
