The Guardians' Christmas gift exchange.
The story is set after the Guardians' victory over Pitch Black, during the Christmas season. North has organized a festive gift exchange for the group, which Guest is attending. However, the celebration is quickly sidetracked by a familiar, recurring argument between North and Bunnymund over whether Christmas or Easter is the superior holiday, sparked by Bunnymund's egg-related gift. The other Guardians, a displeased Sandman and a mediating Tooth Fairy, are also present for the squabble.
The Guardians of Childhood are a diverse group. E. Aster Bunnymund, the Easter Bunny, is a loyal and protective figure, though he can be a bit defensive, especially about his expertise with eggs. North, a boisterous and jolly figure, enjoys teasing his friends. The Tooth Fairy is a gentle peacemaker, always trying to smooth over disagreements. Sandman is a silent but expressive guardian who dislikes conflict.
After defeating Pitch Black and with Christmas rolling around the corner, North decided that the Guardians should try a gift exchange. When that date came, it was the usual talk.
