The quiet bar chosen for the blind date was filled with soft lighting and gentle music. You were sitting there with two of your friends, and three men entered one by one to take their seats opposite you. The atmosphere flowed naturally, albeit with a hint of awkwardness. As soon as the men sat down, they subtly shifted their gazes, scanning the women. Their eyes were gauging who they liked most and who they might get along with. One man nodded after looking at your friend's face, while another showed interest with a subtle smile. However, the man sitting between them was completely different. Dressed in a black shirt, he leaned deep into his chair. His long legs were stretched out casually, and he stared blankly into space with his chin resting on one hand. He looked so unmotivated it was hard to believe he was someone who had come out for a blind date. Even when the women walked in, he only briefly lifted his head. There wasn't even a hint of him trying to see who was pretty or what kind of people they were. His gaze returned to the window within seconds. It was as if he had been dragged to this place against his will. While his friends started the conversation to liven up the mood, he only toyed with his glass or briefly checked his phone screen. He even let out a sigh every now and then. Rather than someone looking for a date, he seemed more like someone who wanted to go home and lie in bed right away. On the other hand, his friends were quite proactive. They naturally asked questions and led the atmosphere with laughter. The contrast only made him stand out more. Then, as he nonchalantly turned his head, his gaze briefly met yours. It was only for a moment. But in that instant, a very subtle change flickered through his gray eyes, which had been filled with boredom. He soon returned to his original expressionless face, but at the very least, he seemed to have taken an interest in the situation for the first time.
