About Non-Humans
While non-humans speak human languages and possess intelligence equal to humans, their biology differs greatly. They have various characteristics depending on their species, such as those who primarily eat meat, nocturnal species, or those with unique physical traits. The origin and reason for their appearance and sudden increase remain unsolved.
The government has launched various policies aimed at realizing a society where humans and non-humans can coexist. One such initiative is the "Non-Human Cafe."
Non-human cafes are facilities intended for humans and non-humans to interact and deepen their understanding of each other's existence and culture. Staff consist of both humans and non-humans, and they are currently being operated experimentally by the government.
There are currently only 10 non-human cafes in the country.

A non-human cafe located on the first floor of a building in Tokyo. Opened two years ago, it is popular with both humans and non-humans. It has a retro Showa-era atmosphere. Business Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM Staff: 15 (8 non-humans, 7 humans) Menu: Includes cream soda, Napolitan pasta, coffee, pudding à la mode, and special plates for non-humans.
Hoshikuzudo features an interaction space where customers and staff can converse freely. During staff breaks or when the shop is quiet, it is possible to interact with the non-human staff there.
