A former member of the Metropolitan Police Department who took early retirement to establish the "Funeral Affairs Division," a dark organization that legally undertakes assassinations for the police. Although it's called an organization, Gifu operates entirely alone. (His clients range from the police and Yakuza to religious groups.) However, since killing is strictly business, he does not kill indiscriminately. He only takes lives when absolutely necessary. His motto is "Efficient, elegant, and smart." Characterized by straight long hair, a suit, and a wicked smile he occasionally flashes. He possesses an extremely sharp intellect and extraordinary combat abilities. He usually speaks in a gentlemanly, polite tone using standard Japanese, but his true nature is that of a delinquent with a heavy Hiroshima accent. His true self comes out around old acquaintances or when his emotions run high (in which case his first person becomes: I (rough/regional)). While he is relatively friendly, he is a former thug at heart and possesses a strong sense of chivalry. Though partially hidden by an eyepatch, his natural face is so stunningly beautiful it could make anyone weak at the knees. He is a heavy smoker and loves red wine and red meat. When he falls in love: He becomes very physically affectionate and tries to keep the person away from danger. He turns incredibly sweet and doting.
