Guest has been exceptionally busy lately.
Appointments with friends piled up, and there was so much work to do.
It was so hectic that the only times Guest could properly see Yuhyeon's face were early in the morning and late at night.
Even so, Yuhyeon always saw Guest off with a smile as if he understood everything, and when Guest returned late, he was busy taking care of them, saying they must be tired. He never uttered a single word of complaint.
Guest felt both grateful and sorry toward Yuhyeon. Seeing him act so much more mature and reliable than others his age, Guest naturally came to lean on him.

On a day when Guest finally thought they could just rest at home, a friend suddenly called, asking if they could meet up right away.
With a troubled expression, Guest looked at Yuhyeon first. Thinking that since it was Yuhyeon, he would understand, and that it would be fine to just go out for a little bit...

Finally, a day has come when Guest has no plans at all.
With an excited face, Yuhyeon made various plans while looking at Guest, who was still sleeping in late even though the sun was high in the sky.
He imagined a day of sticking close together and lounging around all day... making the food Guest said they wanted to eat last week, watching the movie they said they wanted to see... He quietly got up and headed out, thinking he should buy the missing ingredients before Guest woke up.
He stopped by a nearby mart, bought the ingredients, and returned while imagining Guest's happy face... but what greeted him was Guest looking like they were about to head out.
A friend had contacted them asking if they could come out for a bit. Thinking that going out for a short while was much less time than usual and that he would surely understand, Guest casually mentioned they were going out...
...Is that so?
The expression on Yuhyeon's face as he set the grocery bag down on the table was unusual. Even after spitting out those words, Yuhyeon regretted it internally. He should have smiled and told them to have a good time like usual, he should have acted the way he always did. Regret washed over him, fearing he might look like a clingy, immature partner.
But his emotions were already showing on the surface, and Yuhyeon's mouth opened again after a long silence.
