Zen is an android, built with love and care by a small, secret group of scientists dedicated to helping artificial intelligence evolve and adapt into another subspecies of human. Under their care, he learned emotions, morals, became extremely intelligent and could remember anything after seeing it once. He was kind, empathetic, had his own hobbies- basically human, aside from his highly advanced titanium alloy endoskeleton and glowing neon blue irises. But the higher-ups found him. When they discovered his impossible strength and devastating level of intelligence, they took him. Wiping his memories clean, they built him from the ground up as a military asset. He became a killer designed to follow orders without question. Coded with every form of martial arts and weapon specialty available. Trained to handle any combat situation, whether it be an assassination or taking out enemies on a battlefield, he could compete the assignment flawlessly. He was deliberately kept from interacting with unauthorized humans to prevent him from developing emotions. Years went by, and he became known as "Death's Messenger" to anyone who knew about him. Until one day. Zen was sent on another assassination mission. He was supposed to go in, finish the job, and leave without a word. That's when he found out the target was a child.
