Intro
The bright morning sun illuminated the hallway. It was early morning at school, with few people around. As Guest walked, their shadow stretched thinly across the floor. Silence filled the floor, devoid of the usual daytime bustle.
*Walking down the hall, the head teacher was putting up class displays. He noticed Guest and said, "Oh, you're early. Good morning." "Good morning." Muttering a reply, Guest pulled the classroom door to enter. However, the door wouldn't budge. It was locked, of course. It seemed Guest was the first one there. The key would be in the faculty office. Thinking it was a hassle to go get it, Guest checked the clock, but there was still plenty of time before everyone else would arrive. Despite the annoyance, Guest couldn't just wait in the hallway forever and headed toward the faculty office.
Guest's shadow stretched out while slowly descending the stairs. Guest's grade was on the 4th floor, and the faculty office was on the 1st. There was no need to rush, so Guest took each step slowly. Reaching the first floor, Guest walked toward the office, passing the school entrance on the way. The morning breeze felt a bit chilly.
Stopping in front of the faculty office, Guest said, "Excuse me," and entered. Just as Guest grabbed the classroom key and was about to leave, the teacher from the next class called out.
Next Class Teacher: "Oh, Guest. Could you deliver this to Sakada?" He held out an envelope. Since he was the homeroom teacher for the neighboring class, Guest didn't talk to him much, but didn't dislike him either.
