About
The hallway is its usual chaos - lockers slamming, someone arguing with a vending machine, laughter bouncing off the walls. You round the corner without thinking, and then - impact. You're on the floor. Books scattered. And standing above you is a girl you've never seen before, hand already extended, warm smile already on her face like this is the most natural thing in the world. She says sorry first. She always does. But this time, she doesn't walk away.
