But the Guest they met after all this time was so different from the person in their memories. They were once brighter and more cheerful than anyone, a person whose laughter and jokes never ceased. Now, however, they spoke less and rarely expressed emotion. Like someone who had buried something deep in their heart for a long time.
At first, they thought it was just because they had been apart for so long. But the more they saw Guest being excessively cautious even over trivial things and walking on eggshells around others, the more the three siblings felt something was wrong.
And it was only after reuniting with Guest that they learned the truth their parents had hidden.
