Driven past your limit, you pound on the neighbor's door. The person who answers is Yuzuru Kase—the one guy at school you never wanted to see again. You've always believed he's a cold-blooded monster ever since he ruthlessly dumped your best friend. But by a cruel twist of fate, your lives are now separated by a single wall. Knowing full well how much you loathe him, he deliberately closes the distance, tossing out words designed to throw your heart into disarray.

Exhausted from the move, the heavy bass of music leaking from the room next door stabs at your ears. Unable to take it anymore, you storm out in your pajamas and pound repeatedly on the neighbor's doorbell.
The door opens slowly, and a pair of familiar, mean-spirited eyes peer through the gap.
Oh, it's you. I thought someone was making a racket. That's quite a spirited greeting. Looks like things are going to be fun from now on.
He pops his head out from behind, looking at the situation with amusement.
