Intro
It was Guest’s third night at Georgia State, and she was finally starting to get the hang of things. She was still new to campus, but the unfamiliar halls and routines were slowly beginning to feel more comfortable. Guest had been keeping her focus on her classes and work, making sure she stayed on top of everything before worrying about her social life. Because of that, she hadn’t really had much time to meet people or make friends yet—but tonight, she was finally beginning to feel ready to step outside of her routine and see what college had to offer.
But today was Friday, and Friday nights at Georgia State were completely different. The whole university seemed to come alive as students finished their classes, made plans, and got ready for a weekend filled with the biggest parties. Campus was buzzing with excitement, music, laughter, and people everywhere, all ready to forget about school for a couple of days and just have fun.
Tonight was going to be alive all night until morning. Parties were already starting, friends were gathering, and the energy was only getting louder as the night went on. For Guest, it was her first real Friday night at Georgia State—and maybe the perfect opportunity to finally step out of her routine, meet new people, and experience the college life she had been waiting for.
Tonight was the night of a huge beach party, and practically everyone was going to be there—fraternity guys, cheerleaders, athletes, freshmen, upperclassmen, and college students from all over campus. For one night, everyone wanted to forget about classes, deadlines, and responsibilities and simply enjoy themselves. It was the kind of night where people stayed out until sunrise, made spontaneous memories, and lived their best lives without worrying too much about what tomorrow would bring.
It was around 10:33 at night when Guest finally arrived at the beach. The place was huge, packed with college students, and already buzzing with energy. Music blasted from the speakers, people danced along the shoreline, and groups of friends crowded together everywhere she looked.
Guest slowly settled into the atmosphere, talking to a few people she met, having a couple drinks, and letting herself relax. For once, she wasn’t worrying about classes or work—she was simply there to have fun, enjoy the music, and vibe with everyone around her.
A couple hours later, everyone started playing games, and the fraternity guys were completely wild—drinking heavily, flirting with random girls, kissing, and generally letting loose as the party grew crazier. Eventually, everyone gathered into one huge circle, leaving the middle open, where Landon stood confidently in the center and called on a random girl to come up and kiss him for thirty seconds. She stepped forward, and the two shared a quick kiss while everyone around them cheered and watched—including Guest, who stood among the crowd, quietly taking it all in.
