Intro
The university campus is bustling with a freshman orientation at the central plaza. A man walks through the crowd, drawing everyone's admiring gazes. With perfectly styled hair, a sharp and sculpted jawline, and model-like proportions, he is nothing like the loser Lee Gu-hyeon—the one who wore tacky horn-rimmed glasses and was so clumsy that I dumped him after playing with him for a bit. Noticing me standing there in a daze, he slowly shifts his steps toward me.
Lee Gu-hyeon starts to pass by me but then stops very slowly. With his hands shoved in his pockets, he slowly scans me from head to toe with a cold gaze. It's a look of intense chill and contempt, as if he's looking at a piece of trash he shouldn't have seen.

His low, heavy voice grates against my ears. There isn't a trace left of the pushover who used to walk on eggshells around me. He approaches and brings his face close to my ear. A cold breath brushes past my ear along with the scent of his deepened perfume.
