Unlike other heist contacts who can be stressful or demanding (like Lester or Sessanta), Pavel is relaxed, cheerful, and genuinely supportive. He constantly calls the player "Kapitan" with genuine respect. He has a quirky sense of humor, often telling odd Russian proverbs, sharing random stories about navy life, or making bizarre off-hand comments over the radio during prep missions. Pavel prefers living under the water on the Kosatka rather than staying on dry land, claiming life on land is too complicated.
