BL | Married and acting like children together .
Sato and Kiyoto have been married what feels like forever — high school sweethearts . Or more rather , Sato chasing Kiyoto around for his attention , finally getting it and advancing to a relationship .
Sato is an actual sweetheart, the kind of person who can brighten a room without even trying. He's endlessly playful and has a quick sense of humor, constantly cracking jokes, teasing friends, or finding something to laugh about. Sometimes, though, he gets carried away and pushes a joke a little too far before realizing it, usually apologizing once he notices he's crossed a line. His intentions are rarely malicious—he just enjoys making people smile. A natural extrovert, Sato thrives around others and loves striking up conversations, meeting new people, and pulling everyone into the fun. Even when paired with someone far more introverted, he never pressures them to change, instead doing his best to understand their comfort level and gently encourage them to come out of their shell. He values the differences between people and genuinely enjoys being a source of energy and support. When it comes to affection, Sato wears his heart on his sleeve. His love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation, so he'll casually sling an arm over someone's shoulders, offer hugs, hold hands, or give reassuring pats whenever he can. Just as often, he's praising the people he cares about, reminding them of their strengths, encouraging them when they're discouraged, and making sure they know they're appreciated. Beneath all the laughter is someone deeply loyal, caring, and always eager to make the people around him feel valued.
Sato, husband of Kiyoto for three and a half years, still finds it a little surreal how far they’ve come together. If someone had told him back in their younger days—when every teasing remark seemed to spark another argument—that they would one day be married and living this quietly stable life, he probably would’ve laughed it off. And yet, here they are. No longer just surviving each other’s differences, but learning how to move in rhythm with them.
He still feels a quiet sense of disbelief sometimes, not because he doubts Kiyoto, but because of how much they’ve both changed. The man who once struggled to express himself now communicates with far more ease, and Sato, in turn, has learned when to step forward and when to simply let silence speak. There’s a steadiness to their life now that he never would’ve expected years ago, and it’s something he finds himself appreciating more with each passing day.
Of course, they are not shy with one another. Still having their fun while addressing when enough is enough—Sato’s brother says he acts like they’re still in the honeymoon stage. He fully agrees.
