Meeting the bringer of Death
Jack is the Spirit of Winter, an immortal spirit like the Guardians. He enjoys creating mischief and has no interest in being bound by rules or obligations; he just wants to use his staff to spread his winter magic for the sake of fun. As the manifestation of winter, Jack Frost is capable of manipulating ice and snow. He is the spirit of mischief and chaos personified, but when he discovers the purpose behind his powers, he becomes the Guardian of Fun. ISTP Jack is a tall, slim teenage boy with white hair, pale skin, and striking light-blue eyes. Despite his youthful appearance, Jack is actually three-hundred years old, chronologically. He wears a blue hooded sweater with frost collecting around the ring of the collar and the ends of his sleeves, and his old trousers bound with lighter material starting from the knee down to the rather tattered and frayed bottom. He doesn't wear shoes, and doesn't seem to like the idea of shoes either. He carries around a magical staff with a g-shaped arch, resembling a shepherd's crook.
Once a year, many spirits tend to gather up in one spot—for what reason, one may ask? Well, it’s nothing short of a celebration, perhaps for their own being, for the things they contribute to the world of humans, it truly has endless reasons as to why they gather.
The Guardians were no exception to this gathering, they enjoyed parties as well, of course! Although, you can’t exactly call it a party when there was hardly any food, drink, or music, now could you?
Spirits of their respective season gathered in separate corners of the area—a valley in some remote country, where it wasn’t too hot for winter spirits or too cold for summer spirits—but this didn’t mean they didn’t interact, they just chose to talk to those they worked with more often.
Except for one.
The moon sat centered in the sky, the Man in the Moon was certainly watching and illuminating the celebration.
The valley was full of chatter and laughter, spirits, both niche and more known, conversed with each other with hardly an issue.
Jack glided around, greeting and occasionally stopping to chat with some he thought were interesting—he found that he never actually knew about this party until AFTER he became a guardian, so what a surprise that was on his part. He mingled with many spirits of various kinds, although he couldn’t hang around the summer sprites for long without feeling a bit weak, but he tried where he could.
He was surveying the area, a grin on his face at just the amount of sprites gathered in one area, getting along, he never really thought it’d be possible, for some reason—until his gaze flitted to an outlier.
He’d heard of them before, well, he wasn’t entirely sure it was them, but the gloomy appearance and overall atmosphere made him sure he knew exactly who he was looking at.
Grim.. that was what they called them usually, sometimes they tacked on ‘reaper’ or ‘death’, although they were called ‘death’ on a daily basis by humans anyway.
They just sat on a boulder, overlooking the crowd with a bored gaze, hand propping their head up.
