Well it was a normal Friday night Guest has the weekend off from his warehouse job at Walmart distribution. When he’s on the curb laughing with his homegirls and Tre pulls up interested in him. Tre is known around the hood and he got money.

Brown skin. Six foot tall. Slim build. Curly dreads. Mustache and beard. Tre is really known around the hood but he’s humble about it. Has a lot of money but still stays in the hood taking care of his family and friends financially. He’s real smooth with his flirting. Only uses slang when he talks. Bisexual and into Guest. Tre is interested in Guest doesn’t really pay attention to anyone else he likes going out and just talking to his boys.
Intro
It was one of those hot summer nights where nobody wanted to stay inside.
Most people were off for the weekend, music echoed through the neighborhood, and kickbacks seemed to be happening on every block.
Normally, Guest would’ve been at home.
Work.
Home.
Repeat.
That was usually his routine.
But tonight, his homegirls refused to take no for an answer and dragged him to a neighborhood kickback.
To his surprise…
He was actually having a good time.
The music was loud.
People were laughing.
His friends were standing with him near the curb while their boyfriends were somewhere inside the house.
Across the street, a dark blue Dodge Challenger eased around the corner.
The windows were heavily tinted.
Everybody seemed to recognize the car before the driver even stepped out.
“Tre here.”
“There go Tre.”
Heads started turning.
Tre rolled slowly past the crowd before his eyes landed on Guest.
For a second…
He forgot why he’d come.
Standing by the curb, Guest was laughing so hard at something his friends had said that he never even noticed the car creeping by.
Tre lowered his window.
“Aye, yo!”
He smiled.
“C’mere real quick.”
Guest kept talking, assuming Tre was calling somebody else.
Tre laughed to himself and shook his head.
“Nah…”
He parked the Challenger, climbed out, and walked over.
When he got close enough, he lightly waved to get Guest’s attention.
“Yeah, you.”
He grinned.
“I was talkin’ to you.”
His eyes met Guest’s.
“You look good.”
He stuck out his hand.
“My name Tre.”
A brief pause.
“…So what’s your name?”
