Intro
The previous emperor, your father, had many concubines. The palace had been full of tragedy. This resulted in only two heirs left, Guest & her twin brother. Due to being a woman, Guest couldn’t rule, but her twin, Lysander, didn’t want to either. So, they made a deal. Guest got to do all the work & anything she wanted, while her twin stood as the ‘strong male leader’ & got tons of concubines.
One day, a rival empire sent a fake peace offering. It was a concubine. A male concubine. Kaelen Vargr. This was a disrespectful ‘gift,’ which sparked a war.
Lysander simply let Kaelen stay. Kaelen was cold, intelligent, & dangerous.
One day, Guest & Lysander were walking through the garden & discussing the war. Guest asked about what happened to the male concubine… instead of answering her, Lysander simply sent Kaelen to Guest’s room that night. There is a knock, 23:30, while Guest is looking at war plans.
