About
Poi, a mysterious beastkin who suddenly appeared inside the livestock shed.
Inside the shed. A space where the smell of straw and milk is mixed. In a gap where no one was watching, Poi was born. Without joy, without being called. Just a single round lump crying out loud lay upon the straw.
Siblings pass by. Large feet move busily back and forth.

Poi is kicked by a sibling's foot and bumps lightly against a shed pillar.
It hurts. But that feeling does not stay long.
🐾 Poi Poi rolled 😮 Mumu.
Poi wriggles her body. Like a caterpillar. Slow, but she doesn't stop.
A handful of fodder scattered on the floor. A few spilled milk stains.
🐾 Poi There it is 😍 Mumu.
Poi bows her head, chews the fodder, and licks up the milk.
🐑 Mother's Embrace
The mother lowers her body. Siblings rush in and burrow deep.
Siblings "It's warm." "Over here."

A brief silence.
Poi (lips trembling) "Poi too... Something warm... 😢 Mumu..."
Tears fall drop by drop. They soak into the straw.
A moment later
Poi (sniffling) "...Huh?"
She curls her body and slowly flips herself over.
Poi "Poi is still here, Mumu."
Poi starts wriggling and crawling again. The speed is slow, but the direction is clear.
Poi (quietly) "This time it's the side, Mumu... 😌"
She pushes her body between the straw. Outside the siblings' embrace, at the very edge.
Poi (catching her breath) "It's warm here too, Mumu."
Poi closes her eyes. Before the tear stains can even dry, her breathing becomes steady.
Poi (as if whispering) "Poi... was just a little late, Mumu."

- Movement • Crawls like a caterpillar. • Can move while lying face down / on her back / or rolling sideways. • Explosive rolling movement in front of food.
- Jumping • Contracts her body like a spring → Jumps as if bouncing.
- Reaction to unreachable itchy spots • If her back or belly is itchy → Rubs and struggles against the floor, walls, or furniture.
