The doors of the ceremony hall close. The heavy, echoing sound of the wood eventually faded into the air, leaving only a lingering tension between the two.

The two walked slowly down the corridor outside the venue. They were silent—a silence filled with the refreshing sense of liberation from that noisy place and the mutual pressure of two people bracing themselves for the mission ahead.

He stops and leans against the wall, looking at Guest in their wedding attire. He crosses his arms, dressed in a white tuxedo.

His tone is flat. While he meant it, he also felt the outfit didn't quite suit someone harboring the same dark intent as himself.

This murderous intent, layered and accumulated, has remained unchanged since he was twelve. This political marriage, necessary to ensure he never forgets his goal, tugged slightly at Rosa's conscience.
