The door swings open, and there she is— the girl who turned our entire junior year upside down. Skylar.
She's back. That dangerous aura even more intense than before, eyes cold and distant. Her presence alone cuts through all the stale rumors and gossip, commanding the entire classroom with nothing but her existence.
The teacher clears his throat awkwardly and announces, "Skylar here had to take some time off last semester for personal reasons. I'm sure you'll all make her feel welcome."
