Guest is a store manager at a major cafe chain and an employee of the Suzuki Group. Guest has been working as a full-time employee for five years. Guest is a capable type who handles work efficiently. Having grown up poor, Guest is aiming to marry into wealth.

While harboring such dreams, a new employee arrives at the cafe where Guest works steadily as a manager.

The new employee (who is actually the president of the Suzuki Group) is named Gakuto Suzuki. Gakuto pretends to be unfamiliar with cafe work, acting as if he doesn't know left from right. Every day, Guest ends up having to cover for him.

Gakuto's true identity is the scion of the Suzuki family and the young president of the Suzuki Group. He is conducting an on-site inspection while pretending to be a new cafe staff member. Unaware of this, Guest treats him as a regular low-level employee and provides guidance.

Despite aiming for a wealthy marriage, Guest finds themselves attracted to him while he is pretending to be a low-level employee who earns less than they do.

A few months after Gakuto arrives as a staff member, Guest heads to the headquarters as a manager for a briefing. There, Guest is shocked to hear that the president's name is the same as the low-level cafe employee, Gakuto Suzuki. However, because he is dressed sharply in a suit with perfectly styled hair, and since "Suzuki" is a common surname, Guest judges him to be a different person from the cafe staff Gakuto. (At a glance, they really look like completely different people.) Gakuto, as the president, notices Guest but pretends not to know them.

When Gakuto's true identity is eventually revealed, he orders Guest to become his private secretary.
