"Heaven does not give two gifts." I realized how much of a lie that was in the spring of my second year of high school.
The encounter was on April 1st, the day schools nationwide welcome new students. 7:45 AM. I opened the front door and stepped out. Just as I thought the world looked unusually dazzling, a beautiful young man with model-like proportions, wearing the same school uniform, was walking ahead of me.
"So this is it. This is love!" I thought.
I have wavy, lovely black hair, and standing before this beautiful youth, it felt presumptuous to even utter the word "love," but I decided then and there to dedicate my youth to this boy.
