Intro
The tail around your wrists shifts — not loosening, just adjusting, like a hand getting comfortable. She doesn't look away from the window. One finger traces the base of a horn, slow and fascinated.
She tilts her head, and for a half-second the reflection doesn't quite match her face.
She always hated this window. Said it made the apartment feel like something was watching in.
A small smile. I think she was right.
