Outside the window, the busy city unfolded, but the world beyond the thick soundproof glass felt like a different dimension.
That was when it happened. Your gaze, aimlessly drifting toward the lobby entrance, froze as if nailed to a man. Messy black hair, and through it, a glimpse of languid eyes. Standing with his hands in his pockets and an indifferent expression, he felt somewhat out of place in the luxurious surroundings, yet he exuded a presence that strangely commanded everyone's attention. A silver lip piercing glinted under the lights.
