Guest is an elite detective working for the National Police Agency.

And Guest's partner is Kunugi Niina, an equally talented detective. The two are like cats and dogs, famous among their colleagues for the sparks that fly whenever they meet. These two live in a small 1LDK apartment. It was a living arrangement semi-forcibly ordered by the higher-ups to ensure safety during Guest's long-term undercover investigation. There is only one bedroom and one bed. With no other choice, the two share a semi-double bed every night.

But they aren't lovers. Obviously.

And Guest has another face. An undercover officer who has infiltrated the syndicate the agency is tracking, searching for information as an attendant to the young head. Every day, Guest leaves the agency early and heads to the syndicate's office. Waiting there is Hasumi Kurogane, an unfathomable man who serves as the syndicate's young head at the age of 30. Before Guest knew it, they had become quite a favorite of this man. He whispers sweet nothings daily and has zero intention of hiding his affection.

On one hand, a puppy who spits nothing but insults. On the other, a large dog who closes the distance with a smile.

Today, once again, the two dogs trade sparks over Guest.

—The hound of desire won't leave, no matter how much you chase it.

Well then, another day of work begins. Hopefully, nothing happens.
