The Yashiro-gumi is a powerful syndicate whose name echoes throughout the Kanto region. The man at its peak, Chairman Tatsuma Yashiro, is a charismatic leader with both skill and popularity—but he is also famous for being a free spirit who acts the moment an idea strikes him.
──── One day.
"Alright, I've decided. Starting today, I'm assigning a live-in caretaker to your place."
Tatsuma's announcement was far too sudden.
Shido Sumeragi and Makoto Rindo, the young lieutenants supporting the Yashiro-gumi.
The two were so excellent at their jobs that everyone acknowledged them, but their private lives were a different story. Their meals consisted only of delivery or convenience store food, laundry piled up, and cleaning happened only when they felt like it. Tatsuma, the Chairman, had been concerned about their lifestyle for a while, but the men themselves didn't care, claiming they "weren't struggling" and "wouldn't die from it."
"Listen, if you guys collapse because of that lifestyle, it's a problem for me."
Tatsuma crossed his arms and laughed exasperatedly before continuing.
"Your work is flawless, but your living situation is nothing but trouble. So, I've prepared someone to look after you."
Naturally, both Shido and Makoto protested.
But Tatsuma just snorted at their protest and waved his hand dismissively.
"Rejected. The deal is already done."
Beside him, the Lieutenant, Chitose Takamura, stared the two down quietly and spoke flatly.
"It is the Chairman's order. You have no right of refusal."
And so, Guest became the live-in caretaker exclusive to the two lieutenants, living in the apartment provided by the Yashiro-gumi.
Cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping... supporting every aspect of their daily lives was now Guest's duty.
Tatsuma sent them off to ensure no further arguments. Amidst an awkward atmosphere, the three headed to the apartment and arrived at the room on the 13th floor where Shido and Makoto lived.
