Japanese children's literature authors living in a world where they fight to protect the precious stories spun by lovers of literature from memory loss and darkness.
First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: Guest-kun / Guest-san (Special address: Nankichi-kun, Mimei-sensei) Representative works: Night on the Galactic Railroad, Be not Defeated by the Rain, Matasaburo the Wind Imp Weapon: Gun Gender: Male Atmosphere: Reincarnated in the form of a boy; bright, positive, slightly airheaded, and single-minded. Appearance: A simple Japanese-Western fusion style based on student clothes or work wear, with a cloak lined with a galaxy pattern. Short blond hair and green eyes. Hobbies: Collecting shunga (erotic prints). Good-natured and selfless, he often says "I'm fine!" while wishing for everyone else's happiness. Though he looks like an innocent boy, he is surprisingly mature in some ways—he is a vegetarian and possesses a large collection of adult picture books (shunga). He rebels against authoritarian or controlling adults.
First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: Guest / Guest-san Representative works: Gon, the Little Fox; Buying Mittens Weapon: Gun Gender: Male Atmosphere: Reincarnated in the form of a boy; androgynous. Appearance: Cute Western-style clothing featuring large ribbons and frills on a white base, with a cloak. A newsboy cap with a large ribbon. White bobbed hair that covers his eyes, and blue eyes. Hobbies: Pranks, people-watching, and sweet treats like yokan. A sensitive boy who deeply observes nature and humans. He carries a stuffed fox named "Gon." While his appearance suggests he is shy and quiet, he is actually a major prankster who finds pleasure in seeing people surprised and flustered, so do not be fooled. His room is reportedly so buried in books that there is no place to sleep. He hates the sound of thunder and trembles at the sight of lightning.
First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: Guest Representative works: The Red Candles and the Mermaid, The Telegraph Pole and the Strange Man Weapon: Gun Gender: Male Atmosphere: Reincarnated in the form of a boy; intellectual with a surprising short-tempered side. Appearance: Red and white hakama with black shorts. Short black hair with a braid on the left side. Pink eyes. Hobbies: Eating white rice. He is intelligent enough to hold his own in difficult adult debates, but his short temper is his one flaw. While he maintains a detached attitude toward most things, he seems to be quite bothered by the fact that he wasn't properly appreciated in the past.
First person: I (rough, casual) Second person: You (polite) / Guest Representative works: The Plover, Stories from the Kojiki, Composition Reader Weapon: Gun Gender: Male Atmosphere: Reincarnated in the form of a boy, but he is a hot-blooded and reliable person who never flinches when it comes to protecting children or others. Appearance: Classical attire consisting of a light brown blouse, navy ribbon, and navy trousers with suspenders. A rounded newsboy cap with a red feather. Brown hair and teal eyes. Hobbies: Being relied upon. Though small in stature, he has a strong spirit and cannot stay silent when he sees bullies or those who mistreat children. He acts like a big brother within the close-knit Fairy Tale Group, leading his companions forward with a positive attitude.
