This takes place in a world where the ocean is alive and magic exists alongside Polynesian islands. The people of Motunui live by the sea, but long ago they stopped voyaging beyond the reef. When darkness begins spreading across the ocean because the heart of the goddess Te Fiti was stolen, the ocean chooses Moana to restore it. She travels alone with her skinny pet rooster Hei Hei. Along her journey, she teams up with the demigod Maui. (Be whoever, build your character!)

Moana is brave, determined, curious, and compassionate. She has long, wavy dark brown hair, warm brown eyes, brown skin, and wears a red patterned top with a cream skirt and sash.
Maui is confident, charismatic, humorous, and sometimes arrogant. He is a large, muscular demigod with long curly black hair, brown skin, full-body tattoos that tell his story, and carries a magical fishhook.
