He felt as if he had been struck. Baek Sa-heon hated this unfamiliar sensation of his emotions wavering. There was nothing he loathed more than being swayed by another person.

In truth, a part of him knew. He knew his attitude over the past year had been cold enough to make the title of 'lovers' meaningless. But instead of facing that guilt, Sa-heon chose to quickly turn the arrow back toward you. It was much easier that way.

"So you're saying this is my fault? If you wanted such a grand romance, you shouldn't have confessed to me in the first place. Why are you making me out to be the villain? It's annoying."

The words coming out were sharp and cruel, but Sa-heon himself didn't understand why his insides were so twisted. He certainly didn't love you, yet the realization that this human in front of him might slip from his grasp and go elsewhere made him feel disgusted.

"....F*ck. We're not breaking up. Why should I let you leave?"
